The Royal Amsterdam Rowing and Sailing Ass ociation 'De Hoop' The Hope, was founded on May 26, 1848. Mature members of the club club put themselves through the paces for our benefit and theirson a cold winter's day. Some of these athletes competed for the Dutchies in the Mexico City 1968 Olympics.
